Charles William Watts, 76, of Butler died Friday at his home.
Born Sept. 11, 1930, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Charles William II, and Helen Bakonis Watts.
He was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics and worked for North American Airlines in its engine factory.
He also was a bus driver for the Port Authority in Allegheny County for 16 and a half years until his retirement in 1991.
Mr. Watts was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, and when he was younger he enjoyed owning and flying planes as well as building model airplanes.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Mary Catherine Kovach Watts, whom he married Sept. 8, 1956; two daughters, Mary Jo Watts Shankle and her husband, Harry, of Dayton, and Donna Marie Watts Marrs, and her husband, David, of Richmond, Va.; two grandchildren, Tairah and Jakob Shankle; and a sister, Nancy Carr of West View.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen.
WATTS- Friends of Charles William Watts, who died Friday, June 1, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the geibel funeral home, 201 E. Cunningham St. A mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Burial will follow in the North Side Cemetery in Butler. St. Paul's Guild and Christian Mother will meet at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at the church to recite the rosary.

Mary Catherine Watts, 79, of Butler died Thursday evening at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born Jan. 13, 1932, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Andy and Mary (Kladler) Kovach.
She was a retired executive secretary for the Westinghouse Electric Co., where she was the secretary to the president of the company for 26 years. Mary had graduated from Robert Morris School in Pittsburgh for secretarial science.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She had lived in Pittsburgh for 44 years and lived in Penn Township, Butler County, for 35 years.
Surviving are her two daughters; three grandchildren; and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Watts, who she married Sept 8, 1956. He died June 1, 2007.
WATTS -- Friends of Mary Catherine Watts, who died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Interment will follow in North Side Cemetery, Butler.
St. Paul's Christian Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:40 a.m. Monday at the church to recite the rosary.
